Kosmont Companies was recently featured in two news articles in connection with their work in the City of Camarillo. One was featured in the Ventura County Star, the other was featured in the Camarillo Acorn.

Kosmont Companies was contracted by the City of Camarillo in the Spring of 2015 to aid in the development of a hotel and conference center on a vacant lot south of the 101 Freeway, just east of Las Posas Road. The project struggled to move forward for years but has recently gained leverage as Camarillo’s City Council recently gave staff permission to negotiate an exclusive agreement with the Mian Companies (a commercial and hospitality real estate investment, management and development firm) to develop the former redevelopment property.

Kosmont Companies solicited and reviewed proposals from numerous developers in order to help the City move this project forward.
